The Proprietor
My name is Graham and I first became interested in personalised number plates at the age of 8, when I noticed the
mayor's car of my home town Barrow was displaying the plate AEO 1. "Why should that be? How come?"
My fascination grew and as a youngster I scoured the streets with my "I-spy Car Numbers" book in hand! I
had to wait until 1997 before I owned my first personalised registration. Since then, I have added to my private collection
as well as buying and selling numbers. I have even invested in several plates for my 10 year old son!
The Business
Platecrazy was a natural progression from my growing hobby, when I realised I had acquired numerous plates and needed
a way of advertising them for sale. Platecrazy is a very apt name, I am
crazy about personalised number plates to the point of being obsessed! In reality, you will find I care as much as you
do, so if you want to know anything to do with buying / selling / choosing cherished registrations, please
get in touch.
The Business Philosophy
I aim to provide you with a very high-quality and personal service and treat everybody as an individual. You will
always be dealing with only myself as a single point of contact so you can be assured of maximum attention to detail
at all times. Whilst I am able to and do provide all types of plates for all customers, I have
less interest in and tend not to keep sub-£500 plates in stock or deal in Irish registrations, preferring to concentrate
more on quality rather than quantity. Like you, I am a busy person. Please leave a message if
I cannot answer the phone right away and I will call you back as soon as possible.
